Through both its presentation and development projects, ReelDance has been instrumental in encouraging the development, analysis, experimentation and exposure of, with and to dance on screen both nationally and internationally.
We are dedicated to providing opportunities for established and new artists to develop their skills, form relationships with other practitioners and to debate future directions of the field through forums, laboratories and workshops.
Additionally, the ReelDance Festival and tour of Australia and New Zealand remains an important way for artists in the region to gain exposure to curators and presenters of dance on screen from around the world, and to see the best new work produced nationally and from overseas.
