In Sydney and Melbourne, our international guests will facilitate a workshop for local dance screen artists and introduce an associated screening session of their video dance work. The workshop will be an intensive course for dancers and video dance-makers interested in exploring the creative interface between improvised dance and video dance practice. Workshops will continue throughout the tour schedule with experienced Australian artists running dance screen workshops as part of the ReelDance Festival. In addition, 4 international dance screen curators have been invited to meet with local filmmakers at the Sydney event, and will join our international guests in an open forum on the global state of dance screen.
