FROM THE ARCHIVES: REELDANCE MOVING IMAGE COLLECTION

The 2010 International Dance on Screen Festival is proud to launch the ReelDance Moving Image Collection (MIC). MIC is a unique educational and culturally important collection that tracks the development of dance on screen in Australia and New Zealand as well as the evolution of ReelDance as an organisation. The 600 titles that make up MIC will be accessible to the public as part of the opening of the festival.

A curated selection of work from the MIC is currently on show as part of ReelDance's Run That Reel exhibition at Chunky Move, Melbourne: Feb - Nov 2010 and the Australia Council Windows, Sydney: 8 Mar - 20 May 2010. This exhibition will also be installed in Track 12 at Carriageworks for the length of the ReelDance festival in Sydney from May 13th – 16th 2010.
