Nascent_lg

Nascent, 2006, Directed by Gina Czarnecki & Choreographed by Garry Stewart

As part of the 6th ReelDance International Dance on Screen Festival and Tour, ReelDance presents Run That Reel, a touring installation aimed at profiling the prolific activity of Australian and New Zealand dance on screen making from the early nineties through to present day. This exhibition is made up of 3 x 1 hour programs curated by ReelDance director, Tracie Mitchell. Works for the installation have been selected from ReelDance's most recent initiative - the Moving Image Collection (MIC). The ReelDance MIC is the world’s most extensive collection of Australian and New Zealand dance on screen work and is an important and unique educational and cultural resource.
